Holiday card photo attempt

Yes, I know it's difficult to get a baby and a dog to sit there and look cute at the same time. I had to try though. It didn't work out but we got some funny pictures. I like the close up, they both look like they've just been busted for something!

Meeting Uncle Joey!

We went to Aunt Frannie & Aunt Debbie's coffee shop, the Country Farm House. Rocco likes Francesca! He also met Great Uncle Joey who showed us how to give him a "horsie ride."

Mommy is old!

Rocco was sick for the first time and it happened to be on Mommy's 30th birthday. So we went to Bachi's house for dinner. He wasn't so sure about those candles.

Finally couches!

We've been in our house for nearly 2 years and we just got couches for the living room!!! It's quite exciting. Where is my big protector dog when the delivery guys are at the door... I miss Chopper.

Professional pictures

About one month ago we had some professional pictures done. It happened to be a day when there were some big fires going so we got an amazing sunset! There are so many good ones it's hard to choose but here are a few. I'm sure you'll see a lot of these hanging on our walls soon.

Playing with his cousins

We went over to J.R.'s house. Between Jordan and William there was a lot of action for Rocco to watch.

Another football game

Hanging out with Papa Ralph! Daddy always has him doing the "Touchdown" motion.

First vegetable

He's not into the rice cereal. So I made him some carrots to go with it. He seemed to like it but still got pretty mad. I think it's just feeding on a spoon that's making him mad??? We got a lot down and had a good night of sleep!

First haircut

Jill gave Rocco his first haircut. His hair was getting into his eyes so it was time. He did really good. I on the other hand almost cried afterward because it took away his baby look. I think we'll keep it a little longer in the future. Of course his mohawk is there, just shorter. Poor guy, not sure what we are going to do about that when he's older.

Daddy's car

First ride in Daddy's car! He LOVED it!!! He was crying as usual since he was in his car seat but the instant Rocky got that loud motor running he stopped crying and was super content the whole ride. Rocky is so proud his son loves hot rods!

First trip to Fashion Valley

Bachan and Uncle G.J. took us to Fashion Valley. Rocco's first real shopping experience! He was really good all day. They bought him a bunch of super cute new clothes! Thanks Bachi and Uncle G!

Getting better at eating

Rocco was in a serious food coma here. Notice the dazed blank expression. He's finally eating the rice cereal (what stays in his mouth at least) which is making him sleep much longer at night!

Balboa Park

We met Krista & Sean for brunch then walked around beautiful Balboa Park.

Halloween

Rocky carved his massive pumpkin and Joe did a few of the smaller ones. Little Rocco was dressed like a pumpkin during the day but his costume was a cowboy with Punchy as his horse.

First solid food

Rocco had his 4 month check up. He weighs 19 lbs. 4 oz. and is 27 in. long. He's still in the 97% for both height and weight. Such a big boy! The Dr. said to try some rice cereal. He was not happy about the spoon in his mouth. He liked the food but every time the spoon was in his mouth he got super angry. We'll try again tonight!
