Great-Grandma, Budgie, Luca,
Rocco & I went to Ashland.

Rocco was sooo excited to go to the snow!

He talked about taking his trucks to the snow
for days. He also thought his tiger would like
the snow.

Luca was interested but got over being cold quickly.

Rocco LOVES Uncle Ken! He was standing
next to him, waiting for him to finish his dinner
so they could get their flashlights and go
exploring outside in the dark!

Day 2 at the snow. We went to Mt. Ashland so
Rocco could play in the snow and Luca could
stay in the warm lodge. He did a little sledding first.

Luckily Rocco made friends and had much more
fun playing in the snow than with all of us ;)

Hot chocolate always tastes so good
after a day in the snow!

The last day Rocco was brave enough to get on
a horse. They were so big and intimidating he
wouldn't even touch them at first.

Rocco loves Mr. T and talks about him all
time . Next time he will be ready to do a
little riding with Cousin Meme.

Throwing hay down from the loft in the barn
to feed the horses. Rocco loves this kind of work!

The BIG Nene

We went to get a new Nene. They were out
of the small polka dot ones and only had it in
the big (much more expensive) size. Rocco
called Dad and asked if he could get the BIG
one. He is so happy now with his "little nene
with the holes in it and the big one."

Safari Park with Auntie Gum

Big muscles.

Baby gorilla nearly the same age as Luca
and they both weigh 16 lbs. So adorable!

Rocco was scared of the goats because the little
black one was pretty feisty and a big one peed
right in front of us then drank it, he was
shocked and thoroughly disgusted .

Of course he made Auntie Gum
brush the mean one!

The boys had so much fun!!!

Luca's first carousel ride! He wouldn't

stop staring at the big, open mouth of the
tiger next to him that Rocco was riding!

Yes, this is how we wake up most
mornings...wrestling! They are so
happy to see each other that a good
morning hug always results in wrestling.

Today at the gardens we just played

Grandpa always wears this apron around
the yard. Grandma made one for Rocco
and he wore his while helping Grandpa
clean up outside.

Ghost Pancakes

We read Olivia's Haunted House before bed.
At the end of the story she made ghost pancakes
so of course when we woke up he wanted ghost
pancakes for breakfast.


































Cooking all of our meals at Grandma's house
because this is our kitchen at home.

Fun with Cleve & Cayden

We met Cleve & Cayden at the mall. It was so
great to be with some boys who like to just run
forever like Rocco. He had a blast! Can't wait
to do it again!

Firefighters

There was a firefighter crew on a call near
Dad's lacrosse game. We had to check out
engine. The guys were nice enough to give
us a tour, let Rocco go inside, and gave the
boys some hats! Rocco using his finger binoculars.
