San Elijo Lagoon

Rocky had part of the day off so we went out to enjoy the beautiful day! We walked around the San Elijo Lagoon and checked out the new center they built. Lots of fun! We caught Rocco's new smile in a few pictures, mouth wide open!

His first day at the beach!!! He loved it! Ate tons of sand and rubbed it all over his face. Loralei was too clean so he rubbed sand on her too! Such a boy!!!

High Chair

I finally put together his high chair. He had a lot of fun painting it with his food. He got a few bites in his mouth too.

Cotton Candy

Uncle Joe got a cotton candy maker for Christmas. We helped him make some after school. He looks so cute (and Asian) in these pictures!

Big Duckie Tub

He's outgrown the sink tub but I thought he's too small for the big tub so he has this inflatable tub. He loves it!!!

Great-Grandpa George

Rocco can't get enough of his Great-Grandpa! Rocco always wants Grandpa George to hold him but this time he actually did hold him for a few minutes. Rocco's a bit too wiggly and heavy for him!

Drinking water

We went for Rocco's 6 moth checkup. He's 21 lbs. 13 oz. and 29 inches long. Still a big boy! Especially on the height chart. The doctor said he can drink some water in a sippy cup now. He figured out the sippy cup but hates the water coming out of it. Now he'll only drink out of a water bottle! He's so funny, can't do anything the way most kids do it!

Relaxing Sunday

We went to the Farmers Market to get some more organic fruits & veggies for Rocco. This time I got apples and he loved them! Then we went to a really cool dog park with Jayce, Alana, the twins, and Tyke. Punchy was pretty bad on the leash because she was so excited. Then we got to the park and she instantly has to roll over for all of the dogs. She's such a whimp! She had a really good time running around with all of them though.

Japanese New Year celebration

Grandma Jane made him a chan-chan coat (sp?). He needed something since he doesn't really look Japanese!

Vegas trip!

We went to Las Vegas for New Years. Rocco met cousin Brittany, Auntie Tri, and many other family members. Uncle Joe taught him how to play cards and won him a toy at the arcade. Rocco loved Vegas!

Happy New Year!

Everyone came up to our room at midnight because we had a view of the entire strip.  We watched the fireworks and brought in the new year together.  Rocco wasn't so sure about cameras flashing in his face in the middle of the night!
